Toddler Yoga

Toddler yoga is for all parents with mobile babies, toddlers and pre-school children between the ages of 1-3yrs.
As a child grows and learns to carry its weight, it naturally develops strength. But unless it experiences a wide range of movements and stretches, they can start to lose their flexibility. Toddler yoga encourages activities during their early years that will keep their bodies healthy and flexible.
But these classes are about more than just the physical aspects of balance, co-ordination and flexibility; through songs and rhymes the classes stimulate language, listening and developmental skills; parents discover that through exercising and having fun with their child, bonds between them are strengthened; and children learn the invaluable skill of deep relaxation.
Just as baby yoga is not something done to the baby but done with the baby, so these classes are active for both toddler and adult. Parents model the practices and the infants take what they need, when they need it, participating at their own pace.
